If the weather gets bad (like it did at HarvestFest), everyone takes cover in the tents, and you can't tell who is in line for beer sampling and who just wants to get out of the inclement weather..... Just a thought...can't wait until Feb 27th! :) Dear MGB Staff:
For Winter Beer Fest, have you considered having a separate tent just for “warming” or shelter?

I hope the layout is the same as last year (parking lot) because that kicked $#* over walking the ups and downs in the stadium-plus you can't really have a bonfire in the stadium upper deck! There will be more "Ameri-cans" as we call them, this year. I apologize for the inconvenience the past couple years. We thought we fixed the problem last year by ordering more porta-johns per person than we have at the Summer Festival. Unfortunately it has taken us a couple festivals to figure out that the reason it still wasn't enough is not because people "go" more often in the winter, it's because it takes everyone 4 times as long to un-do and then re-do their clothing. They just don't turn as fast as they do in warmer weather. We have a bunch more ordered and I am planning to not have the same problem again. Last year was better that the first year at the Ball Park but it was still a huge problem. I waited in line for up to 45 minutes which is way to long. People generally use the restroom more often when out in the cold so even more are needed just for that reason. I went to the Summer Fest for the first time this past summer and never had to wait in line for the restroom. I have friends that went to the Winter Fest last year but will not go this year because of the restroom issue. I hope that this problem is resolved this year.
