When is the Michigan Brewers Guild Beer Festival?
U.P. Fall Fest is September 7, 2013 in Mattson Lower Harbor Park next to Lake Superior in Marquette.

How do you get Tickets?
Tickets are sold online through links on and at participating member breweries and beer stores. MBG Festivals typically sell out in advance so make plans to purchase tickets early.

How many beers do I get?
15 drink tokens are included with admission and each drink token is redeemable for a 3oz sample of beer*. Additional tokens will be available inside the festival for 50 cents. The Michigan Brewers Guild utilizes drink tokens and specially marked cups to assure that we comply with Michigan Liquor Control Commission regulation and have a controlled means of serving beer. Festivals attendees are expected to willingly provide a token for each and every sample of beer received. We appreciate your cooperation. Festival attendees must be 21 years of age or older and have ID to enter.  Designated Drivers are not permitted to drink beer. * Some rare, vintage, or barrel-aged beers with higher cost will be 2-3 tokens

How many breweries will be participating?
We will post a list of participating breweries closer to the festival date.

Where can I find a list of beers you’ll have?
On the Michigan Brewers Guild blog, The Mash

I lost my ticket confirmation email – where can I go to re-print my tickets?
You will be able to retrieve your ticket by logging into our ticket sales page using the account you created when you purchased the ticket. We will provide a link to the login page once tickets go on sale.

Will there be a shuttle to/from the festival?
There are not currently any plans for a shuttle at the U.P. Fall Beer Festival. There will be plenty of parking on site, and there are taxi service options in Marquette. Please be sure to arrange responsible transportation ahead of time.

Are any hotels running special deals for the festival?
We will post hotel information as we receive it, closer to the festival date.

What can I bring with me into the festival?
Folding / camping chairs, water, hydration backpacks, coolers, food, non-alcoholic drink in non-glass containers, and empty plastic or metal beverage receptacles are all allowed into the festival. You may also bring a small (10’x10′ or smaller) pop-up shade tent as long as it’s set up well out of the way of festival foot traffic.

What am I not allowed to bring with me to the festival?
No outside alcohol, dogs, or glass containers will be allowed through the festival gates. For everyone’s safety, children are not permitted at this adults-only event (exceptions will be made for immobile infants).

Can I enter the festival if I’m not 21 years old?
No, you must be 21 or older to enter the festival.

Is this festival outdoors?
Yes. September weather in the U.P. can be unpredictable, so check the forecast ahead of time and dress appropriately.

Are the bathrooms indoors?
No. Port-a-potties are located outdoors.

I’m under 21 but am a Designated Driver for someone else and will not be drinking. Can I still enter the festival?
No, you must be 21 or older even if you’re a DD and are not drinking.

Can I bring my kid with me to the festival?
No, children are not allowed into the festival for everyone’s safety. Please make childcare arrangements ahead of time.

What must I bring with me to be allowed into the festival?
All festival attendees must present their driver’s license or valid state ID at the gate, even if you’re using a non-drinking (DD) ticket. Enthusiast members who wish to take advantage of the one hour early entry at 12pm must have their valid Enthusiast membership card with them as well.

I lost my Enthusiast ID card / I just joined as an Enthusiast and don’t have my card yet. Can I still get in an hour early?
Yes. Bring your receipt of Enthusiast membership purchase to the Will Call tent for review where we can stamp your ticket for early entry.

Can I pre-party / tailgate in the parking lot before the festival?
