When is the Michigan Brewers Guild Beer Festival?
Winter Beer Festival is Febuary 22, 2014 in Grand Rapids at the 5/3rd ball park parking lot. Gates open to the general public at 1pm. Gates open to Enthusiast members at noon Tickets go on Sale December 1st 2013
How do you get Tickets?
Tickets are sold online through links on MiBeer.com. MBG Festivals typically sell out far in advance so make plans to purchase tickets early.
How many beers do I get?
15 drink tokens are included with admission and each drink token is redeemable for a 3oz sample of beer*. Additional tokens will be available inside the festival for 50 cents. The Michigan Brewers Guild utilizes drink tokens and specially marked cups to assure that we comply with Michigan Liquor Control Commission regulation and have a controlled means of serving beer. Festivals attendees are expected to willingly provide a token for each and every sample of beer received. We appreciate your cooperation. Festival attendees must be 21 years of age or older and have ID to enter. Designated Drivers are not permitted to drink beer. * Some rare, vintage, or barrel-aged beers with higher cost will be 2-3 tokens

Will there be a shuttle to/from the festival?
Yes, but you need to make reservations for the shuttle before the day of the festival. You can find shuttle information here, including stop locations, pick-up/drop-off times, prices, and how to make your reservations online
What can I bring with me into the festival?
Folding / camping chairs, water, hydration backpacks, and empty plastic or metal beverage receptacles are all allowed into the festival.
What am I not allowed to bring with me to the festival?
No outside alcohol, dogs, or glass containers will be allowed through the festival gates.
Can I enter the festival if I’m not 21 years old?
No, you must be 21 or older to enter the festival.
Is this festival outdoors?
Yes. Dress warmly!
Are the bathrooms at least indoors?
No. Port-a-potties are located outdoors as always, and are chilly – so be prepared.
I’m under 21 but am a Designated Driver for someone else and will not be drinking. Can I still enter the festival?
No, you must be 21 or older, even if you’re a DD and are not drinking.
Can I bring my kid with me to the festival?
In general, children are not allowed into the festival. We do make an exception for immobile infants – however, on account of the outdoor setting of the Winter Beer Festival, we do not recommend you bring your baby to this event if you plan to stay for any length of time.
What must I bring with me to be allowed into the festival?
All festival attendees must present their driver’s license or valid state ID at the gate, even if you’re using a non-drinking (DD) ticket. Enthusiast members who wish to take advantage of the one hour early entry at 12pm must have their valid Enthusiast membership card with them as well.
I lost my Enthusiast ID card / I just joined as an Enthusiast and don’t have my card yet. Can I still get in an hour early?
Yes. Bring your receipt of Enthusiast membership purchase to the Will Call tent for review, where we can stamp your ticket for early entry.
Can I pre-party / tailgate in the parking lot before the festival?
No. Please don’t.
