Bus Packages to the Winter Festival

There are several places offering bus transportation to and from the Winter Beer Festival on February 27th. Here is a list with contact information:

Hello Winter Beer Fest Fans,

Just to fill you in, the G.R. Hopper will provide shuttle service to Winter Beer Festival on Saturday Feb 27th 2010 starting at 11am. We’ll be picking up patrons at The BOB , Hopcat and Founders (in that order) at 11am, noon and 1pm with return shuttle leaving at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm. Cost will be $10 per person (roundtrip) and that will include an all night Hopper Pass, so you can conclude your night downtown and be brought back safely to your Hotels, Condos and Apartments that we service. Please visit to view our Hopper Stop locations. For everyone else we recommend you drink responsibly and/or take a cab home. Patrons will be able to purchase tickets on our website (available in the next few days) or directly from our driver. Online purchasers should print their receipt and show to our driver to receive their ticket. Seating will be limited and no more then 60 tickets will be sold. First come first serve. FYI: Though not on our website on February 27th we’ll also provide Winter Beer Fest shuttle service to and from the Alpine hotels including Holiday Inn Express, Springhill Suites and Hampton Inn. This is a separate shuttle service and hotel guests will purchase tickets directly from our driver. After Winter Beer Fest these hotel guests will also receive downtown service to conclude their night.

    The First Bus Is Filled and the second bus if getting full. Don’t Miss out on this trip. Leaving from Paw Paw and picking up at Shakespeare’s in Kalamazoo. $70 in advance and $80 the day of (if seats are available)

    Is there some sort of bus route that would pick up downtown GR and then out to Fifth Third? This would help ensure a safe ride for those that live locally.

    • There are only 60 tickets available and can be purchased for $10.00 at The receipt from the online purchase should be given to the Driver at the time of initial departure in exchange for a ticket. Tickets are valid for the entire day/evening. You must have your ticket in order to ride.

    • Pick up at the Holiday Inn Downtown to the 2010 Winter Beer Festival (5/3rd Ballpark) at 11am, 12noon and 1pm.

    • Return transportation from 2010 Winter Beer Festival (5/3rd Ballpark) back Downtown will be at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.

    • Transportation will continue throughout the evening in the Downtown Grand Rapids area. Call 616.606.0467 for transportation outside of the scheduled times above.
