Come See How You Can Make Beer on Your Own!
Chris P. (Crispy) Frey is an avid homebrewer, member of several local Homebrew Clubs, is a representative for the American Homebrewers Association and has spoken nationally on the unique characteristics that different yeasts provide on the flavor of beer. Crispy will begin a brewing demonstration at 1:00pm on Saturday July 22st at the Summer Beer Festival in Ypsilanti, utilizing his homemade brewing system, starting with fresh grains, water and hops and will take people through the process during the day, explaining the various facets that make up the brewing process, as well as explain how one can get started in the fun hobby of making your own beer and how to meet other homebrewers.
