    *Bike-toberfest – Detroit Brewing Past and Present
    bil Lusa leads a bicycle tour of the city, focusing on historic brewing sites and current craft beer hotspots, while showcasing some of the great urban trails Detroit has to offer. Gather at DBC around 4pm for pints before heading out. The ride will leave Detroit Beer Co at 5:30 sharp, heading up to the WSU campus (Traffic Jam and Motor City), past the old Pfeiffer brewery, through Eastern Market (E&B and Stroh’s), down the Dequindre Cut past Atwater, along the Riverwalk and finishing at Foran’s Grand Trunk Pub at 7:00pm. “Easter Eggs” will be hidden at various locations along the route.     *Wolfgang Puck’s Detroit Beer Week Happy Hour 5-7pm
    Executive Chef Marc Djozlija, a great friend and lover of delicious craft beer, will be featuring FREE appetizers at Wolfgang Puck Grille at the MGM Grand Casino. The real kicker: $3 draft pints of 12 different Michigan beers!
    *SHE said beer, HE said wine – artisan cheese pairing @ Motor City Wine http://www.motorcitywine.com 7:00pm
    A chance for wine drinkers to try some beer, and beer drinkers to try some wine. This friendly competition will pair 6 wines and 6 MI beers with artisan cheeses from Detroit’s R Hirt Jr in Eastern Market. The event takes place at the newly opened Motor City Wine (above Foran’s). Owner/Somellier David Armin-Parcels has selected some of his favorite wines to speak about, while Certified Cicerone and First Lady of Craft Beer, Annette May, will discuss some delicious beer selections. Cost is $20 at the door
    *New Holland Night @ Foran’s Grand Trunk Pub
    After the cheese pairing, join us downstairs in the GT Pub for a night of beer specials and swag with Isaac Hartmann of New Holland Brewing Company. Be sure to congratulate him as well on his still recent marriage. This event will run from 8-11pm

    Friday:
    *Foxtown Pub Crawl – hang out with the brewers and enjoy the bars of this awesome neighborhood!
    $10 wristband gets you admission and drink specials at 7 Foxtown watering holes…
    Starts at 8pm – wristbands for sale at all events on Thursday or at several of the bars Friday (update tomorrow)

    -Centaur
    -Rub BBQ Pub
    -Hockeytown Cafe
    -Cliff Bell’s
    There will also be a shuttle running from Park Bar to DBC.

    *Fall Festival Pre-Party @ DBC
    Gather with friends new and old and enjoy hand-crafted brews like the new Black IPA and the Pumpkin Ale from Kevin Rodger at Detroit Beer Company. Be sure to try some brewers’ bread while you’re there – it’s delicious. Catch the shuttle or walk back and forth from the Foxtown Pub Crawl! Tons of Brewers will be on hand to hang out with. Shake their hands and thank them for brewing Michigan Beer!

    Saturday:
    *Fest Afterparty @ Atwater Block Brewery
    The newly-remodeled Brewery Taproom will be open from 6pm til Midnite, featuring delicious Atwater beers, music, food, and SECURE parking thanks to some close friends of ours… Enjoy a night of revelry with Michigan brewers and tons of beer fans from all over.

    Sunday:
    *Sunday Bloody Mary Sunday @ 3rd Street Bar
    3rd Street Bar at 3rd and Forrest (near WSU) will feature the Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar sponsored by Valentine Vodka and McClure’s Pickles. Hand out with the brewers for a last hurrah before heading back to the real world next week. Cornhole boards and breakfast tacos will also be on hand. Your morning after never tasted so good!
