Happy Independence Day
On behalf of the Michigan Brewers Guild I would like to wish the entire craft beer community a day of fun and relaxation with family and on this Independence Day. I am always encouraged when I think of the independent spirit of Michigan’s brewers and beer lovers and I know that most of us will be kicking back at some point today to enjoy a wonderful, Michigan craft beer. I am staring down a 750 ml, cork finished bottle of “Moxie” which is a limited release, hand numbered bottle of sour ale aged in oak for close to a year. This beer brewed by New Holland Brewing Company to celebrate 10 years in beer. Thank you to Brett, Fred, John and Dave.
My biggest dilemma is whether to start on the Moxie or to begin by pouring a fresh glass of traditional Pilsner from my own little brewery…Cheers
