Josiah Benjamin of Hastings samples a beer during last year's Winter Beer Festival.GRAND RAPIDS -- Kalamazoo homebrewers Chet Emmons and Colt Dykstra are again organizing a bus trip to the Michigan Brewers Guild's Winter Beer Festival Feb. 28 at Fifth Third Ballpark.
The bus will leave at 10 a.m. Feb. 28 from a downtown Kalamazoo location to be determined. Tickets are $70 and includes your $35 ticket to the festival, plus a ride back leaving at 5 p.m. The homebrewers will provide some of their beer for the ride up.
"We'll have a good selection of beers," Emmons said.
